👕NonFungibleMerch.io (Concept)

This venture will be one of our major advances towards building a Web3 Brand. It will be a marketplace to mint non-fungible merchandise. The idea is to store a transferable token on a blockchain, much like ERC721, which correlates to real-life merchandise.

There will be four collaborations required for the platform to function.

1. Manufacturers & brands - We will collaborate with leading manufacturers and brands to deliver the highest quality Shirts, Jackets, Suits, Sneakers, anything you can name.

2. Collaborations with artists and designers - This will allow for a genre of creative products. Example,

   • 3D artist who can make a licensed character of an NFT you own for your MetaVerse ventures

   • A designer who can customize a pair of sneakers with your NFT on them.

   • With a marketplace of skilled artists and designers, the potential of this concept will be endless.

3. Project Holders - There are several projects like BAYC, MAYC & mfers which offer commercial rights of the NFT to their holders. Users holding such NFTs will be able to provide licensing for their NFT to be used by manufacturers for a period of time.

   • License providers will have control over a range of settings. Such as the number and types of merchandise that can be minted, allowing/disallowing reissues of the item, etc..

   • While manufacturers will have a fixed fee for products, holders will be allowed to customize their commission for each type of merch being minted.

   • This will allow for a simple and easy monetization for anyone holding these projects and give rise to a completely new market.

4. Projects - We will work directly with new projects to help them integrate smart contract-based copyright licensing. Though it is not necessary, over time, acceptance of this standard will help with easier management and functioning of the concept. There are several advantages of this, such as

   • This will allow all signed licensing along with their validity to be saved on the blockchain. So, when you are buying the NFT, you will also be able to view all its licensing history.

   • When selling/buying such NFTs on the secondary markets, this metadata will be visible under its properties.

We would like to practice being honest with our future holders; NFMerch at this stage is only a concept, unlike all other plans on this roadmap which are clear sure deliverables. We are sure of facing challenges on this but very positive about the idea of bringing a revolution if executed right.
